I'll see what i can do about raising the bag... don't want to invest too much for is just a hobby. and that guy is the ****! His conditioning must be top notch to pump out punches like that.
Im probably not alot more skilled than you mate , if at all i also do it as a hobby and when i can. But i think uv missed the idea of a "punch out drill" what your doing just looks like your working the bag normally ? The video above of ross is a good one got alot of good info of his site and some ace free videos.
Meant to add im no where near the standard in that video of ross boxing lol but the speed is the idea in that exercise or thats what iv read anyways sure better boxers than me will have more to add
First I'll give the negatives and please don't think of this as bashing because it's not, I'm just giving constructive criticism. Negatives: - First off throw the punches from your cheeks. You drop your hands way to much and some times don't even bring your hands back to your face. - You give alot of "tells" when throwing punches, you drop your hands just a little right before you throw and some times you throw your hooks and uppercuts to wide. - Your also throwing punches only using your shoulders and arms, your not following through with your hips and legs (at from what I can see in the video). - Also when your throw the punches try and punch so to speak "through" the target rather than hitting just the surface. By this I mean your not fully extending with your jabs and straight rights. Positives: - I really like your hooks, they have great technique as well as the rest of the punches. - You seem to have very good endurance and your punches don't lack in technique even in the later round when your tired. - Great effort, you have a lot of potential. Keep it up.
