The shoulder may be a part of his defence but if he could still move it the entire fight like he did, then he can defend properly... I just give well deserved props to Castillo for delivering a good performance that night...

In regards to the rematch, of course Mayweather clearly beat Castillo but it takes nothing away from the 1st fight.... Like I clearly said above if you read the entire thread, we can use any info to back up our claims if that's all we truly want to do...

...and why doesn't anyone ever mention that possibly Castillo had an off night the second time around ? Maybe yes and maybe no....it's all speculation.

Like I said, and that's the only point I'm making come across, IT'S BEEN DONE BEFORE AND CAN AGAIN... Will it... is another story obviously !!!!

Maybe...but Mayweather still likes to say in interviews how Pacquiao has already been knocked out in the past....even if it's an even longer time ago !!!!

    It can go both ways....

Didn't Floyd break his hand in the first Castillo fight? Shouldn't he be praised for fighting on and eeking out a close W, rather then being bashed for allowing somebody to almost beat him?

NIce post and i understand what you are saying. I agree to a certain degree and maybe i just have some problem with the word "plan".

I would prefer "adaptation" which is something you don't "prepare", unlike a plan.

    Nice description of those fight.

Don't worry about Manny. Roach will have a plan A, B and C for Floyd. PAC has his work cut out for him but on the flip side so does Floyd. It will not be easy to discourage PAC and I feel we'll see Floyd out of his comfort zone more than ever. Still I feel Floyd will edge a razor close decision but he'll be the worse for wear by the end of 12.

Why is it that Pac fans and Mayweather haters ALWAYS bring up this fight? And then fail to bring up the fact that Mayweather gave him an immediate rematch and beat the brakes off of him? The two go hand in hand.

But a way more impressive win compared to the Mayweather-Marquez fight.

Excellent post! Anyone who has followed PBF's career knows that his opponents workrate and connect % percentages fall off the map, while his connect % against them is the near 50%. If poeple think Pac will throw as much or land on PBF like he did Cotto or Hatton they will be in for a shock come fight night.

Again this is not the norm. PBF was injured going into that fight not to mention why didn't you post the rematch stats with a healthy PBF?:yep
