Punch stats do mean something when there is consistency in them.

I defo get your point w/the thread.
But a machine can't predict a KO/injury or cut that can change the stat's.
(When these 2 polar opposite styles clash)

Why has noone picked up that Zavy is wrong?
Hatton did not fight Collazo after Mayweather, it was Juan Lazcano.

I never said that he faced Collazo after Mayweather...with that said, punch stats are what is being talked about.

Highest +/- percentage in the sport is indicative of his brilliant defense, he will make Manny look bad at times en route to his victory IMO.

You mentioned punch stats for fight prior to Mayweather and afterwards, then mentioned for Hatton (1) Urango and (2) Collazo, both fighters Hatton fought prior to Mayweather.
It must be me who is wrong then.

I already got the 'big picture', but I have to point out inaccuracies regarding Hatton.

There's a difference between boxing and running. Wright outboxed Trinidad's ears off and didn't have to run he stayed in the pocket. Floyd does run now.

I dislike punch stats, it misleads fans at times and also human error is very possible. It's a system that does not help boxing esp. when decisions are announce. Boxing already deals with judges and referees that at times do errors and having these punch stats doesn't help at all when it is not 100% accurate.

when the number are CONSITENT....like most things it can help form an opinion on how something will turn out but just like there is chance to right...there is chance to be wrong but probability here only suggests PAC wont be able to throw as many punches....but it does not suggest a loss at all....he still can win but i believe it do be extremely hard for PAC in this fight.
