goin by these stats from hbo i don think hatton would have had any luck on the score cards, hatton looked the busier as well coming forward but just shows you how good mayweather really is!!!!!!!!!!

those stats pretty much say it all, apparently the yankie commentators had hatton out in front, but the uk had mayweather in front

Hatton has only been given Round 5 on 2 of the judges scorecards, and 5+2 by another.

Punchstat numbers are BS at times. They don't count punches on arms and against the body. Pressure fighters have always used the ability to beat an opponent anywhere on his body to slowly break him down. Marciano would hit fighters in their arms until they couldn't lift their hands any more. Of course Mayweather made all of this moot by knocking out Hatton - which is exactly what you're supposed to do - but these punchstats do not accurately reflect Hatton's efforts.

I wasn't exactly counting but Mayweather did throw in a lot of body shots. I doubt Hatton would come out with better statistics, even on body shots alone.

39% accuracy is somewhat low for Mayweather. He usually scores about 50% or higher. Hatton's defense while going forward ain't as bad as it's claimed to be.

Willie Pepp once won a round without been hit or throwin a punch- and Duran knocked out a horse.

    Isn't the Pepp story true?

I thought it was one of those boxing fables that actually held some merit.
