Punch was completely legal, if any of you have eyes or ears, you would have clearly seen that Cortez motioned them to fight, and even said "Legs go."

The ending sucked though, this was going to turn into a great fight, Ortiz pressuring Floyd, and Floyd landing some great punches, as well as throwing some combinations. Yet Floyd ended it in a bad manner.

Ortiz is dumb for staring at the ref with his hands down, gets hit with a left, continues to stare at the ref with his hands down, then get hit with a right, then crumbles to the ground.

Cortez sucks as a ref, motions the them to fight, then looks away when they are walking towards each other, then gets scared when some of Ortiz's sweat hits him in the face.

    Good start, bad ending.

Mayweather was landing flush rights all night.
    Against a south paw.

Pacquiao will be easier work, expect them to fight Ortiz after he beats Marquez.

:rofl @ the lemmings needing to clarify and reclarify that it was a legal shot. Virtually nobody has said otherwise. What people are complaining about is the dishonorable and unsportsmanlike nature of Mayweather's actions.

    pretty much.

In the end, the fans lose, because we either missed out on an exciting fight or a world class ass kicking, I would have been happy to see either instead we got this stupid "controversy". f*ck controversy, I want a fight!

Ortiz is Pac's ex-sparring partner, who has to be the most weak minded southpaw boxer that ever lived.

If Pac was easier work, Floyd would have fought him already for double the money. Floyd's ZERO is very important to him though. End of.

you forgot to mention that the fight resembles more of a WWE event than an actual boxing championship fight.

Also forgot to mention he didn't potshot to a 12 round UD.
And that Ortiz was 14lbs heavier.
And that Mayweather was backing him up at points.

The point is Floyd recognized that Ortiz admitted that he did wrong with the headbutt by touching gloves with Ortiz 3 times, but Victor proceeded to want to make friends by trying to hug Floyd twice...It was a legit and fair KO, nothing unsportsmanlike about it...
