A couple of the boys down at the gym use punch AAA gloves and swear by them, I use Lonsdale 12's for the bag and pads and Cleto Reyes 16's for sparring. I'm impressed with what I've seen of the Punch gloves, I like the foam density and, for sparring, they aren't a big glove for their weight. I'm not overly impressed with my Lonsdales and when they wear out I'll get a pair of Punch 10's for training and a pair of their 16's for sparring as the Cletos are a big glove.
International Kickboxer magazine did a review of boxing gloves about three years ago and Punch AAA scored the highest.
sweet. is there much difference between kickboxing gloves and boxing gloves? cause the aaa black diamond series are gems!!! but apparently they are kickboxing gloves. i love the shape (very streamlined) and the way they sit on my hands.
No difference at all, I mean kickboxing is boxing with kicks, they fight in the same gloves and weights. I like the punch gloves for their streamlined shape also, they seam to have a small 'punchprint' which will give a more realistic sparring session.
true, i was thinking that due to kb'ers using hard limbs padding mayb positioned to help with blocking these types of attacks.
