Not much, apart from the fact that it was considered a huge upset, as Harada was a very highly touted up and comer at the time, just two fights prior to his destruction of Kingpetch. I've no details on the fight itself at all. I'd be interested to hear about it as well.

Good call on Hamsho--Benitez. Hamsho is not the type guy to stand the test of time well. And all those Benitez tricks were not going to work on that guy.

Young Corbett against Terry McGovern is an example worth mentioning.

Wasn't McGovern the puncher in this one?

Lou Ambers vs Lew Jenkins although it could be argued that Armstrong took the fight out of Ambers in their two bouts.

Yes but Corbett was no slouch in this department, and he seems to have found a way to turn McGoverns style against him.

Corbett was a counter-puncher. The bane to every big puncher is a counter-puncher with a good jaw or good defense. Other examples of a counter-puncher taking the measure of a good or great puncher:

    Nova-Baer (twice)
    Lujan-Zamora
    Quarry-Foster
    Quarry-Lyle
    Castillo-Pimental
    Starling-Honeyghan
    Watson-Benn
    Ali-Foreman

Already been mentioned, in the first couple of pages, in part because it's one of the better examples of this concept.
