Why haven't you done this thread over in "Classic"? Don't you think, they deserve a good laugh as well?
I can’t believe what I have read here wtf, you have used slow motion to calculate the velocity of all those fighters punches? Iam guna have to call bollocks on that no chance you did that. And let’s say someone did how would they decide the speed, would they calculate the speed of all their punches and then take the average? Or would they just look at what they think were the best punches and calculate the speed from them? Either way it’s a hell of a lot of work to get to a point where it’s anything other than just an educated guess, in short if it’s easy to calculate the speed from slowing down video, then what was the criteria for selecting the video to use? I can’t believe that anyone is buying this bollocks
I don't believe anyone is! It's obviously either an elaborate joke - or the work of a seriously deranged person.
I think it’s important to factor in the air resistance of the synthetic material their shorts are made from but the key factor here is gullibility levels and tolerance levels for nonsense lol
That is the popular opinion in middle school... In the streets, the most dangerous striker is usually the ultra thin lanky fella, who likes upbeat weight-loss supplements. When those upbeat lanky fellas see a bodybuilder, you get to see your theory tested in real life, the confidence of the roid using bodybuilder makes for a beautiful match-up. If you live in China, you don't have those type of situations, because the Chinese Govt don't allow any competitive predatory behavior....So you can use VPN and watch boxing fights more often....even better email Teddy Atlas, he answers most emails
Unfortunately...the only agenda I have is posting this data... If this thread offends you, I assure it wasn't intended to do that...I don't benefit in anyway from bothering you.
Where does Sugar Robert Helenius rank? Took out granite-chinned Kownacki in four rounds who took clean bombs from Martin (89.2% KO ratio).
Chris Byrd KO of Max Thunder is also impressive and out of character The ability to deliver a KO is not exactly psi, the decision to fully weaponize the psi potential is dangerous, few boxers go that route without getting dropped-KTFO in the process. The thread just focuses on raw psi, the equivalent of reserves. Reserves are rarely fully mobilized, unless there is a desperate need to do so, or you are dealing with a radical-policy. Some KO artists have that mindset. Edwin Valero and Edgar Berlanga are good examples of boxers who are fully mobilized from the opening bell. it doesn't mean they can or can't box, its just the way they like to fight. Deontay Wilder and Hearns are less radical, despite have a very high psi reserve, they deploy it at openings, opposed to immediate all out attack. Pacman, Inoue, Foster and Julian Jackson are even more measured... Any boxer can use maximum psi (plan-B down on the cards), their success will depend on how good they train for that scenario, a slugsfest will naturally favor the more instinctive power puncher, who uses punching as Plan-A
What about body Mechanics? By your theory, the jab would be the most devastating punch. Think of it this way, would you prefer to be hit by, a 34in wiffle ball bat swung at 40 mph or a 34in wooden bad swung at 40 mph. The better the mechanics, the more weight is concentrated in the force of the punch. Speed helps for sure, but weight gives speed force.
