Punching Power (Rocky 4 related, but serious question)

    Maybe they meant without the gloves on. I'm guessing the padding on the gloves must cushion some of the blows.

    Exactly, and not only that but used to rain in a load of punches, alright not all power punches but lets just say for arguements sake he got in 15. That means the fighter on the other end took 15 hits by a 50 mph mini. :lol:

    Who ever believed he had a shot that was as powerful as that, needs to think a little bit more before posting.

    It's a boxing website in German language. In the linked article you find some pics about a measurement of AA's punches. The outcome (if its true) was that he reached the highest score ever measured (worldwide...again, I don't know if its true). His result was 1631 points which tops the results of average heavyweight boxers (about 1200 points).
