His power is ridiculous. He actually buckled and nearly had Angulo out, but his weak mind frame prevented that. He may not have "KO'd anyone of note" but that's an ignorant thought to come out your mind when speaking about Cintron's power.

Pac's power is a bit overrated. So is Mosley's. They both have great power, but Cintron's power is off the charts. It's his actual boxing skills and mental game that's weak.

EDIT: Not to mention that no one of note wants to fight this dude.

Berto and Williams have no true knockout power ... Cintron is borderline but he's in the category of a power puncher because of his behavior when he hasn't knocked anyone out.

Other than Pacquiao and Cotto ... none of those guys have reacted well when they couldn't knock their opponents out. Pacquiao and Cotto have shown that they can display their power and break their opponents down to get them out of there.

Chris Byrd viciously knocked out no name opponents too that doesn't mean he was one of the hardest punchers at HW.

Every top opponent he has faced he has been unable to KO or significantly hurt for that matter. His power is being tremendously overrated.

There was no way that Cintron could've knocked out Angulo, unless he left himself open from a KO loss himself.

Mosley has shown time and again he can knock his opponents out late or early. He kept chugging at Margarito and Mayorga until the KO came.

The hardest puncher, punch for punch is Cotto ... when it comes to combination punches it's Pacquiao.

He hurt Angulo on several occassions with the right hand ON THE BACKFOOT!

He knocked out Matthysee in 2 rounds and was voted as one of the most brutal KO's of '07

Seriously...If you can't see the scary power in Cintron then you need your eyes checked...DId you hear those ****ing punches...Jesus Christ man.

And just to refute your point about Chris Byrd...if we observe Randall Bailey's record...he hasn't KO'd anyone of note either, but he's known for being one of the hardest punchers in the sport. Not to mention ****in' Valero...

You guys know that Pac has had double digit number of fighters make it to the final bell with him right? Besides Hatton hes never really had any devastating one punch kos. And you know that Cintron hasnt KO'd anyone one that is worth a damn either. Not saying that they dont have power but....Shane has KO'd big time fighters in big time fights. Bigger guys too.

As much as I'd like to believe that I think he's about on par with Mosley. I think when Mosley puts gas on his punches, he hits harder, but when he's in combination only one of two shots have gas. Whereas Cotto's punches typically ALL have serious pop in them.

I think Pacquiao is slightly below Cotto and Mosley, but his power plus speed and angles and you've got yourself a dangerous power hitter.

Sure he's KO'd bigger guys but usually after theyre shot to ****.

Vargas was already chewed up by Tito and Oscar.
Mayorga was already beat down by Tito and Oscar.
Margarito just went through hell from all his wars with the division.

Who has he put out that was NOT shot or deteriorated in some way? :huh

Phillip Holiday made it to the final bell and that was when Shane was at his peak punching prime. Luis Collazo took a serious beating, but made it. Cotto made it and beat him. Oscar made it twice.
