    Mosley, then Cotto.

Cotto is still a heavy puncher, but not as much as SSM

How can you say Cotto hits harder than Pacquiao? Pac brutalized Cotto with his punches, Cotto's shots had no effect on Pac. :huh

there's alot of things that factor into the effectiveness of a punch. Punching power is just one of them. Where and how it lands can have an even bigger effect. Also, chin comes into play too.

Alot of Cotto's punches were partially blocked, or not fully extended. Espcially the power punches. On the flip side Pac was hitting Cotto repeatedly, alot more than Cotto was hitting him, and he was hitting Cotto on the sweet spot all night. Just look at how many clean, flush, well placed power punches Pac lands on Cotto in round 2. Its alot.

When was the last time you saw one of Cotto's single shots have an effect comparable to the impact of Pac's KO punch on Hatton?

Cotto never landed a shot like that on an opponent like that.

pound for pound, Pac's power at 140 is better than Cotto's power at 147

but at 147 I give Cotto a clear edge.

Margarito with or without his loaded gloves? Because that could affect my vote here.

As far as one punch power, I say Cintron. I can't believe how many voted for Pac. Most of his KO's (excluding Hatton) are from an accumulation of punishment.

I think Pavlik deserves to be on the list too.

It really, really didn't look that way when they fought. I guarantee Pac's punches have more of an effect on Clottey than Cotto's did. In time, I believe you will realize you are mistaken.

I think Pac will land alot more clean punches on Clottey than Cotto did.

Keep that in mind when you watch the fight.

I agree - but think it will be because he will land much more punches than Cotto. Cotto may have an edge on one punch power; however, if that one perfect punch doesn't land, it doesn't do any good. Pac lands so many punches that his opponents wear completely down and cannot take any more punishment. His one exception is Hatton, however, many will agree that it was a perfectly timed, perfectly executed punch, that would have KO'd just about anybody. He had pefect leverage and hatton was in a very vulnerable position.

Logic tells me Williams. He was able to ko a middleweight, but that middleweight was not even close to world class. Against Martinez, the knockdown that put Martinez down more likely got Sergio when he was off balance. Mosley's destruction of never before ko'd iron chinned Margarito is a great point. It was close for me between Mosley and Pac and if I could pick a draw I would, but Pac flooring Hatton, Marquez, and Cotto on arm punching alone is amazing and aside from that it's not from a heavyweight it's armpunching from a guy that's 5'6''! And when he's not armpunching, when he actually has his feet planted and puts his weight on it, he puts Hatton to sleep in a much more brutal ko than Floyd did. He also proved to me he carries that ko power at anytime in the fight early like with Hatton and Marquez or late like he did with Cotto. I think Pac and Mosley would be close. Just probably Pac's punches are more compact.

In two fights with Margarito, did Antonio ever take a backwards step?
