Some people say it can be bad for wrists/joints... (sounds like a lazy attitude from people looking for a excuse to do something)

Floyd Mayweathers done it for years, Many People who actually do it have never say they had problems with there wrists joints.

    Your thoughts?

It can mess up you joints, ligaments, tendons and potentially tear muscles. It also alters the mechanics of the punch which isn't a good thing.

The pros do it is not a good reason to do something.

id like to add its not a easy thing to do for 2-3 minute rounds,

(Its probably why people make up some excuse that it can tear joints and ligaments)

Also Kostya Tsyzu use to do it when he boxed

    And?

Go jump off a high bridge and see if it hurts, or does your common sense tell you that's a stupid thing to do?

    Again, and?

What do you mean "and"? he is one of the greatest boxers that ever lived, 43-0 undefeated

Theres more evidence in him actually doing it for years than some guy who doesnt do it coming up to you saying "It can tear ligaments and joints"

Ahhhh. So he's one of the greatest boxers that has ever lived because he held weights when he shadow boxed. I get your argument now.

Tell you what, go grab some 5kg dumbbells and start throwing punches as hard and as fast as possible for a few rounds and see where that gets you.

Punching endurance, higher workrate. Remember your potentiolly punching for 12 rounds with gloves that weigh 10 ounces.
