    Hello,

We are a boxing magazine based on the amateur boxing scene in the North East of England (Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Durham, Gateshead etc).
We have had 3 issues released so far and are building up a following, we have not joined the forum to try and sell magazines but rather to ask your opinions as fans as to how we can continually improve the magazine.

    At the minute we feature:

    * Boxer profiles - we look at selected boxers from the north east are review their boxing careers so far
    * Club profiles - same as above but with clubs
    * Show reports - reports from all the amateur boxing shows held in the north east
    * History section - a look at some of the best boxers from the area (amateur and pro)
*Pro section - updates on how the pro's are doing
*main feature - a big article on a specific boxer- so far they have been Tony Jeffries, Adam Whitfield and Lawrence Osueke

we are currently thinking about doing some extra sections such as a quiz page, letters page, reports on famous pro's/amateurs who have boxed in the area etc

If you have any ideas we may consider we would be happy to hear and if you have read the magazine we'd be happy to hear your reviews or how it can be made better.

    Cheers

    Punchline team

'Where are they now' type features are always good so if you could tie that into the History section, that would be good.

Always nice to find out what they did after retiring.

A fighters diary where the day to day build up to a bout including training ,diet, sparring etc could give people a idea of the sacrifices made.

cheers, another good idea that we'll look at. Weve done an article on Kerry Kayes who gave a lecture about dieting at Tony Jeffries gym in the latest edition so we are always looking to do things that are a little bit different.

    Thanks for the reply
