I don't think you can give that fight to hopkins whatever way you look at it landing one or two punches every few rounds just isn't going to get the nod over workrate and aggression.

Workrate was the reason Joe won ..Once Hopkins scored the KD he barley did anything after that ..

the thought that he landed at a higher percentage than hopkins is completely stupid. Hopkins may not have threw a lot, but when he did, he landed. joe didn't land **** the whole night. if you punches hopkins threw that didn't land cleanly like they do for coke boy, he landed over 300 of his punches in that fight.

round 3 is when the numbers get way out of hand. the compubox stat essentially follows the same ridiculous suit the entire fight. not sure how calzaghe won any of the first 5 rounds.

good punchby calzaghe that brushes the top of hopkins head at 2:16

beautiful left hook by hopkins at 3:05, that most of you idiots would probably miss since you can't really fight.

at 2:43 calzaghe lands one of his many intentional low blows to slow down a 43 year old.

at 9:50 calzaghe shows his superb intelligence by trying to hit someone behind him and being rightfully taught a lesson about doing so.

Unfortuantly in this day and age grazing punches can be counted as punches .I think the compu box guys even count misses ..

for certain fighters. superior skilled fighters have a disadvantage, because only their clean lands are counted. the expectations are lowered for fighters of lower quality.

Very true how else do explain 232 punches landed ..I know allot of those punches were wild misses but since Joe was the aggressor im sure that played a part ..Im telling you watching a fight from ringside is allot diffrent than on TV .. So many factors play a part ,the angle ,the crowd etc..

    Hopkins has iron skin.
The video is a bit shaky but Hopkins doesn't have a scratch on him.
I am not saying you should judge a fight based on facial damage but 232 punches should leave some marks.

He didnt land a lot of clean punches, but Hopkins wasn't exactly active. Imo Hopkins gave that fight away like he did against Taylor.
