Anyone excited for this one? Haven't heard any talk of it despite several fans of Eastern boxing here. It's for a minor title too, the WBO bantamweight title.

Singyu has retreated back to fighting exclusively fighting in Thailand after losing to super hot prospect Tomoko Kameda via one of the most brutal bodyshots you've ever seen.

I don't know much about Tapales, excite he seems to be yet another in the endless mold of fast paced Filipino southpaws down at the lower weight classes. Anyone seen him?

Also, anyone know if this is going to be televised, or is it not that big of a deal to see TV time?

It's on Channel 7 in Thailand in a few minutes. Tapales really impressed last year splattering Omori who I was (and still am) high on.

Pungluang is the betting favourite, apparently he's 20-0 against Filipino fighters o_O including Pabustan, B****, Megrino, E. Sonsona and Laurente

Should Punglang be more than a -170 favorite? Not sure if there is going to be a squash match... Shohei Omori looked comically fragile and weak against Tapales, which is the only reason he's here...:think

He was unlucky in Mexico against Sanchez, a good fighter but this is certainly his toughest bout to date and he has been PROPERLY messed about in Thailand

Round 1: 10-9 Tapales (could have gone either way, but I favored Tapales' work)

    10-9 Tapales

2-Pungluang again, close rounds but you simply don't win them rounds in Thailand

    Round 1: 10-9 Tapales
Round 2: 10-9 Tapales (same as the 1st. This could easily be 20-18 the other way)

    20-18 Tapales

Judging by the scores here. If this goes the distance, I'm seeing wide UD for Sor Singyu.

    Round 1: 10-9 Tapales
    Round 2: 10-9 Tapales
Round 3: 10-9 Tapales (still a close round, but the clearest one of the fight, if that makes sense)

    30-27 Tapales
