He needs to start fighting with his advantages next time, use his height, his reach and better defense!!

What Peterson said after the fight was that Williams is a warrior and will be back. Seems to me that he saw nothing wrong in Williams performance. Williams best performance IMO was against Margarito when he fought a smart fight because he respected Margarito power. After this fight It seems that he felt like his chin wouldn't betray him. He also wants to fight aggressively in order to make the fans happy. Aggressive and reckless are 2 different things. Williams state of mind might force him to adapt but I got the feeling that whoever the trainer is he will want to go to war every time. A bit sad considering that he got all the tools to be competitive against anyone from 147 to 160

Williams had a big head, he was used to getting everything his way, which he had, all the judges, ref, venue, gloves, commentators, etc., they said he was fighting the perfect fight! HBO compubox claimed Williams landed more punches, but I counted them myself, Martinez landed many more punches than Williams, no comparison!

His trainer is a dumbass. Paul Williams is 6'3 with an 82 inch reach. There is no way Sergio Martinez was suppose to get in the inside on Paul Williams. He also need to use his height to his advantage. He always fights to the other fighters height. How in the hell are you 6'3 and bending down to a 5'10 person. But anyway, yeah he needs a new trainer.

the punisher is the punisher, just like pavlik he had a style that gave other fighters hell in the ring.but when you fight that elite fighters of the elite, its like that **** dont work like that anymore.

to me paul came out with a point to prove like he did when he fought quintana, but in that second round leting his hands go he got hit with right hook from hell.he want admit it but thats the same **** manny did when he koed hatton only manny was looking at hatton and sergio had his eyes closed looking the other way.so for me it was like when tarver koed jones, he did not mean to do it.maybe he did though, im sure they knew paul would be open for it but thats how it looked to me.

paul will bounce back and fight the same way, maybe tighten up his d some.but thats just how he fights.and i was waiting for a fighter with power to fight him and see what would happen.more so then ever when he was at 54 and higher, i thought mosley or even kirkland.

he definately needs a new trainer

If I'm Paul Williams, I'm staying away from MArtinez (who likes fighters who come at him and is bigger than PW) and I'm taking Cintron's heart from the beginning.

Instead, he ****ing goes right into the lion's den against Martinez, but tries to stick and move against Cintron.

Has there been any talk of PW wanting a 3rd fight or did he finally wisen up?

I would have loved to get a thrilogy out of this but i understand him not wanting it.

It happens. I kept telling everyone that chin was cracked in the first Martinez fight and we saw glimpses of it in the Cintron fight.

The second fight just confirmed it for me.

    STFU NOOOB.

It would only be offensive if you were the true Mr. Peterson. In that case thank you for not teaching PW defense. That was a beautiful KO.
