Wow that's bull**** as technicially he's not a welterweight any longer so how would he become the number 1 mando? Pretty much no chance he's winning anyway so guess it won't matter.

They could make purdy vs brook next, they don't fight though the w just goes to the man who can make it through their camp without getting injured and then get on the scales and make weight

Theres no excuse for coming in overweight for the biggest opportunity of his career, probably his one and only tilt at a title

What a laughable situation this is. The stars aligned, it was Purdy's destiny and the **** couldn't resist the urge of a KFC. :-(

If the fight is of, then the next fight will be Brook vs. Alexander....which wont be three bad, because both men would be as rusty as each other having both been out and trained for the same amount of time.

FOTY candidate if you ask me. Compubox will go into a fit, 5000 punches thrown, 2 landed all fight. :happy

Make it happen Eddie. This is it. :deal

It is pretty pathetic when you consider that this is Purdy's biggest opportunity and what could be his only opportunity. To make the weight should of been compulsory, to not make it is laughable.

The fight was laughable to begin with. But it doesnt even look like Purdy is taking it seriously either.

Given the situation and the size of the opportunity for Purdy, the least you would of expected is for him to make weight. But he aint.

Its crazy to think that this will probably be Purdy's biggest fight in his career, and he has blown it by not making weight.

    I dont get it. :huh

Did he not weigh himself in the morning?
