Purdy has 2 hours to make weight!

    I feel sorry for Hearn to be honest. Guy pulls a rabbit out of the hat and gets Purdy a World Championship fight and the guy cant even make the weight in two attempts.

    I struggle with weight issues in training myself so I dont want to be too hypocritical but really for a World title fight and with a team around you, this cannot be happening.

    Also Sky Sports boxing as much as I criticise their output, they've gone from TWO world title fights tomorrow night to NONE . No wonder Barney Francis doesnt trust boxing . Bull**** like this. Very disappointing for everyone concerned.

    If he made weight and won, he became a world champion. There is no time like the present and he has blown it. He could live to regret it for the rest of his life if he pulls it of. Winning it to become mandatory means nothing, he could lose that fight and still regret not making weight.

    Really stupid if you ask me. What if Purdy wins it in an utterly **** fight and Brook vs. Alexander doesnt get made for whatever reason?

    Purdy vs. Alexander II for the belt? :lol:

    Jesus he could only take off 0.2 of a pound in an hour, being that dry I would not be surprised if Alexander knocks him out early.

    could burn matchrooms bridges in america this - all the pissin about with the brook fight x 2 then the replacement come in over so its not a world title fight anymore

    He looked closer to Light Heavyweight at the McDonell fight. Might have been the lighting however.
