Good win for Kevin, first time Murray steps up in class he gets stopped says alot about the 2D Murray.

 

I hope Gavin doesn't look like a world beater now after my debate regarding him last night.

 

Mitchell worried me a bit in the second when he traded too much but Tibbs got him back on the gameplan and once he boxed his quality showed. I knew Mitchell could win (as did you) this and after I heard Tibbs in one of the prefight interviews that Mitchell was in great shape I was happy to to throw a few quid on him.:happy

 

Yep, dont want no excuses from Murray fans. To be fair tho this was a long time coming.

 

Great fight and great win for Mitchell.

Thoughht Murray would grind him down and out but Mitchell has showed tremendous heart in the past and he's faster, more skilled and hit too hard and precise for the naturally bigger Murray.

I know it's common for a fighter to give respect for his opponent post-fight, but credit to Mitchell for the amount of respect he's given there.

Mitchell outclassed him in the end, but still Murray came to fight and gave it 100%

Then just to cover my arse, I put a bet down on Murray to win as I thought that was the only one that could go tits up. :-(

 

I did doubt him when it came out he couldnt make weight, but i've said all along he is a class above. A knockout was always on the cards
