    He shouldn't be penalized because PBC and Top Rank overpaid Wilder and Fury. For Whyte to fight Fury, and only get 4-7 million is ridiculous.

    Yes a career high payday after getting sparko'd by a 50 year old is ridiculous.

    Nothing here is out of the ordinary, this is bog standard stuff.

    Whyte knows Fury will level him and wants a big paycheck to retire off.

    Is this not a case of speculate to accumulate, though? So they took losses but paid the WBC a nice slice. Whyte's side apparently did the opposite.

    It's a huge sum, a king's ransom, a fortune. Plus the chance to become champion of the world, become 'the man', sit at the very top of boxing world.
