I think Canelo deserves more than 6 million.

    yes

I wonder if they will call it Caneloweight or Cottoweight on the bout sheets, and if that argument is why it took them a year to get the fight signed.

As it should be! What canelo has done besides fooling the mexicans into thinking he had a prayer vs floyd and memorizing a line in english? Thats right

Nah , if he wins whoever he fights after will be an easier fight physically speaking for lots of money.

Getting Floyd's #50 post-SHO is not out the the question, he would never retire with that in front of him.

Ok what I actually wanted to say is that he will lose and then retire.

But you're right if he somehow miraculously wins however, I guess if the Floyd fight is on the table he will take that but anyone else, like ggg? forget about it.
He has enough money to buy an island.:yep

Speaking of, I'd actually laugh pretty hard if he did land the Floyd fight and bought the lien on the island. The whole island. Renamed PR to Cottoland, and tore down all the statues of Trinidad.

Was there a rematch clause, or the winner will fight GGG?

It's Middleweight. Do you even know what the weight requirements for Middleweights is?. You Golovkin fans are too mentally incapable to comprehend so you can really use all the educational help you can get.

They are childish in trying to engage forum arguments by using language to incite this reaction. I'm with you. Many of the fanboys are plain clueless as are many of particular fighters or at the very least this fighters' fan club is blinded by their love when it comes to anything that is about or could be interpreted to be about their love.

They are both real good fighters. In my opinion to date Cotto is the much better fighter though that is not to denigrate Canelo who I believe has potential greatness in him. The match is a toss up but I am rooting for Cotto. However Canelo could win this not because he is the better fighter but if Cotto is past his prime. The Cotto that defeated Shane Mosley will win this fight. The key for Cotto to win is to box Canelo.

See. As I said. Childish to incite reactions.
