    lol I don't get it, why are so many upset that Cotto is making more.... I think Cotto is going for Guaranteed Money, and Canelo is going more for PPV money....

    So in the end, it balances itself out. Cotto wants Guaranteed 22 Million.... Canelo will probably even out on PPV revenue. Although I am sure Cotto is making some on that end too.

    Cotto being a US citizen, may as well have Roc bundle up as much as possible in the purse and Nevada favorable tax code.

    For Canelo who is a Mexican, careful handling for tax reasons in more important. I mean its still obviously going to be in Cotto's favor but likely is not anywhere as bad as it looks just judging from the official NSAC purse figures.

    One obvious element is the Mexican TV and endorsements and sponsorships. No reason for any of that money to be touched by US based companies, Canelo would want to pay as little to Uncle Sam as possible.

    Nope a fighter was supposed to be past His prime, with loses and hasn't looked good since the Mosley fight against a young extremely hyped fighter way bigger that had a chance to KO a Floyd that had now Cotto in His resume, Of course will do more.

    Is not like that the site offered 12 millions for the card not for Cotto to fight there, so those 12 millions is part of the final purse for everyone. I think both will get about 30 millions including everything.

    I'd be curious to know the answer to that as well. But in the end none of it matters.

    Cotto is obviously the A-side here, and the numbers being reported support this.
