Too much share for DL. I always think purses should be incentive based.

The fight probably had done good in the Quebec market. The sport bar I went to was jam pack. Plus, the biggest FM station in the province presented the match live on radio. Lemieux probably made 1 million just in Quebec.

 

Won't know for sure until the ratings come out, but it should be a healthy multimillion dollar payday for each.

 

That's pocket change for a big star like GGG. He got robbed if all he could finesse is three or four mil.

 

Lemieux got 1.5 Million base because he's a champion and a star in Canada.

This was both fighter's first PPV, but MSG was sold out and it was a really good fight. Lemieux really tried hard, but Golovkin is so highly skilled that he made it look easy........................Lemieux can still beat most of the middleweights out there, he punches very hard. Golovkin has everything, but that jab was fantastic!!!
