What you don't understand is that Kessler's fame is something of the past. He has one big win in years: Carl Froch. That's all. Bouadla, Stieglitz, Haussler, Sartison, Perdomo, losses against Ward and Calzaghe. One big win in 4 years.

As soon as Bute gets one, Kessler will have to prove himself as much as him.

Johnson is not a big win enough but in March, Bute will have Froch, Ward, Kessler and maybe Dirrell to choose from. Kessler won't be the only top opponent available.

I think Bute has as just a good shot as the other top guys to get the big fights. But of course he needs to be real with his 'offers' and demands. Fingers crossed on that one....

I actually think that you are being frustrated by the fact that Bute has troubles landing the big fights, and letting your frustration out on Kessler because of that.

Kessler earned his rights the hard way, taking on challengers abroad, making fights happen. Bute? ehm not so much!

But do not get me wrong... I actually like Bute and hopes to see him up against the best.

sorry but I dont approve the emeritus stuff, the super champion trick, the diamond strap, etc. I think that if Froch wins the S6 Kessler will have the first shot and if Ward wins I think Bute will. But if some drama come between Froch and Ward it may be a rematch between them first.

 

I wonder, was Kessler aware that he had 1 bad eye going into the S6 and chose to hide it from the doctors? Or did Showtime know about his condition?
