I think I read guaranteed: PBF $10 mil Hatton $8 mil. I'm pretty sure that's what they're guaranteed and they probably get more from PPV %'s and I'm sure they'd have to get paid something for 24/7.

Surely they would have made a lot more if they put this fight on in a stadium in England?!

most likely, but floyd was worried about going over to england ever since the kostya tyszu fight. even though hatton is one of my favorite fighters i have to admit he does get away with a little more wrestling than the norm. well in my opinion anyway, and floyd being very calculating about his chances wont want to take any more risks than he absolutely has to.

so it's understandable that the p4p king wants it on his soil. i guess in his mind floyd would be saying "**** the extra millions. i don't want to lose because hatton is allowed to hit and hold".

having said that, i really hope hatton wins! hatton by UD or late rounds KO!

Its not just that fight......there are a scrapyard full of American fighters supposedly great who got hammered in the UK.They don't travel well. Its one thing winning in your own country surrounded by familiarities.Usually when they come over to fight they have the timezone advantage but still they seem to struggle,go figure.

I would like to see how PBF deals with Hatton's suffocating grappling style. :happy

Alot of complaining and looking at the ref I guarantee, expect the corner also to try and put pressure on the ref if Mayweather starts to look uncomfortable.

Floyd will probably make 25 mil at best ( Gate %, PPV % buys and the Purse ), Hatton will probably be walking away with 8-12 mil at best in my opinion.

im pretty sure if making the most money was to do it in England, Golden Boy would have done that option. Trust. Yea they would have been more seats available to the public but tickets would have been cheaper than what they are now, sp as far as sets sales woulda proablyu evened back out to what was generated now. plus they are gettin more money from the live gate in vegas.

    Im sure the guranteed is

    $10mil Hatton
    $16mil PBF

remember back in 2005, Hatton did say he wont fight Mayweather for less than 8 figures, with these gurantees Hatton does keep his pride on his word.
