    As per fat boy Dan

Per the Arizona Boxing & MMA Commission, here are the official purses for Saturday night’s Top Rank Boxing on ESPN card from the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona: lightweight titlist Ray Beltran $200,000, Jose Pedraza $125,000, junior featherweight titlist Isaac Dogboe $65,000, Hidenori Otake $25,000.
Nice to see this ESPN+ stuff can can put up a whole $90,000 for a world title fight -_-

Terrible, I hope Beltran gets a good payday for the Loma fight if he gets through this, he deserves it

Wasn’t Beltran caught for taking peds in the past or am I mistaken?

People cry about boxing purses, but people need to understand that these guys fight 2-3X a year.

Ray is making $200,000. After taxes and paying his team and coaches, Ray is left with a cool $130,000—$135,000 (depending on how much he pays his staff) for 2 months worth of work.

If Ray fights again in December, he will have made close to half a million dollars after taxes for the year. That's much more than 90% of CEO salaries.

And you get what you draw. Belts don´t really matter.
None of the guys on this card are a draw.

And they all likely have sponsors as well, which makes the training camps a bit cheaper.

The great thing is that we live in a land of free enterprise and every keyboard promoter who wants to pay these guys more is free to put on a card and double their purses.

He's not taking that much home. Let's say his camp expenses were 20k. He would make (200k-20k) ×0.6. That's 108k. That doesn't even take into account the promoter's cut, which would put him under 100k by a decent amount.
