Ok, however I have read that Joshua pocketed 5 mill Pounds, for his fight against Whyte. So I would have guessed a bigger payday for a titlefight!..
It dose sound insane but fighters in Britain sell out arenas in under 5 minutes, Hatton did it and Froch now AJ,Callum Smith,Corrola and we have a little known fighter that nobody in the states has heard of called Josh Warrington and he sells out big arenas and he is already called the new Hatton. Insane but that's the way we love and support our fighters.
Fair play to Martin if he got anywhere near 3 mill. Lucky to get a title in the first place, could have done a Wilder and fought weak opposition but decided on a payday which is what professional boxing is about.
He didn't make 5mil Pounds for Whyte. He made £ 3mil, which is about 4.2mil USD. I heard that he made about the same for the Martin fight.
Seriously? Joshua apparently got 3m for the Whyte fight so that is a big difference but won't it depend on PPV buys as Joshua gets a share of that as it in his contract with Matchroom/Sky from what I have read.
