    This doesn't make sense.
He is getting a 3m guarantee here, and a potential further 2m from PPV buys
Joshua v Usyk fight purses for heavyweight world title bout (paddypower.com)
But that is below the guaranteed 25% by WBO rules.
Add to that Joshua was threatening to vacate if Usyk didn't sign a rematch clause. i.e. Joshua would need to stump up extra for that to be in the contract.

Somethings not right here. Rigged draw and a rematch anyone?

Bodybuilder wins 7-5, people will argue Usyk got jobbed.

Isn’t the purse different to the ppv? So Usyk at 3m compared to Joshua at 10m is 30%

10m? No way he's only earning that little.

Its a bit tricky, but not quite. Though to be fair I could also be wrong on this. But I doubt they would just round down and up by a quarter of a million.

3m:10m split would mean the total is 13m
    3:10
    23% Usyk and 77% Joshua

By WBO rules the split is 25% to 75%
    25:75 of 13m
    3.25:9.75
3.25m for Usyk and 9.75m for Joshua.

So this means Usyk had signed a contract that includes a rematch clause, which puts him in a worse position and seemingly earning less money than if he had just gone to purse bids under WBO rules.

    That is very strange...
So what on earth is in the contract that made Usyk give up his mandatory rights and sign for less than standard?
