140000 is more money than you'll ever see in your lifetime, calm your damn tits.

It's a lot of money for Duhaupas, who has never made that much in his life. :nod

Exactly, this single purse could be more than he has ever earned before combined. It may be more than he will go on to earn from boxing in the future as well.

So yes it's not a lot but it's not like he has better options and it's not like Wilder is making crazy money himself.

Agree, with the comments. He is lucky he's getting a title shot.

It's not about his best win or his career. Duhaupas is a bum yes, but 140k for the most prestigious championship in sport is a disgrace.

    Cornish received 280k, Molina 250k.

Agreed. 140,000 would be like a million dollars in the 1960's.

Cornish and Molina have both done more to earn their paydays than Duhaupas.

It being a world title bout means nothing. He's a lousy contender and shouldn't be challenging for one. His payday reflects his worth and lack of deserving to be in a world title bout.

Knocked out Perk and Butlin (journeymen, yes, but less than half of their losses are by stoppage), shut out Larry Olubamiwo, knocked out Csala...

Not a lot, but honestly as much or more than squeaking by shot never-was Charr and knocking out padded fraud Rosberg.

its marginal but Cornish is completely useless and has struggled against some low level journeymen, charr would hammer Cornish tbh

Looking at the weigh in, looks like Wilders team provided him with plenty of buffet vouchers too. Those in cash value should be added to the purse :)

    :patsch

Makes me questioning your boxing know-how. Cornish never faced a top-200 boxer, Molina got KO'd twice in the first round. Duhaupas schools both at the same night.

Do you really think he would or do you just have some kind of anti-Joshua bent?

Charr was humiliated and KTFO by an unheralded Cruiser just recently, mind...

Do you think Cornish would be humiliated and KTFO by Mairis Briedis?

...ah yes, the famed Duhaupas. Best win is Jarno Rosberg. How could I have forgotten what a beast he is. :-((

No his best win is Manuel Charr, whom I don't rate at all but would hammer both Cornish and Molina as well.

Charr's like his 3rd best. Fabrice Aurieng > 2015 Charr.
