And deflate the historic unification megafight between Bute and the tournament winner in 2011? :blood Yeah, I guess that needs to happen. :conf
At this point, I definitely agree. I mean what happens if Taylor decides not to continue after fighting Ward? His replacement will be at a supreme disadvantage. Is it even mathematically possible that someone at that point entering the tourney could make the semis?
I see Bute doing very well in the tourney should he jump in, I can see him beating Froch easily, Abraham, probably Kessler. I think he has trouble with Ward the most, Dirrell second due to the fact that he's also a fast southpaw.
I don't think Bute's team would do it. Better cash in (in Montreal) against the winner of stig/Miranda (unify) and then MSG against Pavlik. Then negotiate with the super 6 winner.
Guys, Jermain signed a contract. He's a man. He's penciled in until the end of Group Stage 1 at least. Enough about subs. Nobody's been seriously injured. When someone is, we can talk about subs.
:deal Exact, right now, Bute is in good position to get the winner of the super 6. With another belt on the line (stieglitz/Miranda) and Pavlik for cash/exposure this will just add to the package he will have to offer to the super 6 champ. Bute unified champ in 2011-2012?? :think
... but Taylor is strong HBO favorite while Bute is known only in the f...g Tasmania, that's probably closes the case.
