1. Jones 2. Toney 3. BHop Jones obviously the best of the bunch in his prime having beaten Hopkins and Toney easily. Toney ranks higher than Hopkins in my opinion because he fought bigger, tougher opposition while Hopkins chose to beat up on former welterweights to make his name.
I agree, as far as their whole boxing career is concerned I have Jones over Hopkins, however Bernard is currently the better fighter.
1) Hopkins 2) Jones 3) Toney..... But as far as who'd I'd like to watch fight... 1) Toney 2) Jones 3) Hopkins Toney was a bad ass
Exactly, because of two KO losses when he was past his prime people seem to forget what he managed to achieve previous to that, which is a hell of a lot. Jones proved he was better than Hopkins and Toney by beating both and having a great career, Toney was more skilled than Hopkins but didnt achieve as much. Its definetly Jones, then Hopkins, then Toney.
It's no coincidence that Jones always avoided the biggest punchers in every division he fought in. :smoke
jones all day long then hopkins and then toney but big gap between rjj and the other 2 look b hop is good i like him more to the point he has my respect but get real rjj is top 5 atg for ****s sake best fighter of the 90s and made b hop look 2nd rate along with toney.
1 Hopkins The other two have too many performance enhancing stories around them for me to judge them fairly though Toney will always be last.
Toneys true potential was never reached. If he was smarter about training and taking care of his body he could have been greater than both of those guys
