Larry Holmes in his prime accomplished more than Tyson. And the Douglas fight showed that Tyson was vulnerable to being beaten by a good boxer. Holmes has everything that Douglas did and more. And, this isn't, as I understand it entirely a head to head comparison, but who was better in their prime. Holmes ruled the division for longer.

    Tyson
    Holmes
    Holyfield
    Lewis
    Bowe
    Wlad

    Prime Tyson by a mile.

Don't give me all this Lews being number 1 bull**** - watch the bruno v lewis fight and watch lennox get out fought the entire fight until he got in with one lucky punch.

He fought a Tyson so past his sell by date that he lost to Danny Williams 2 years later. I'm a brit and proud that Lennox was HW champ but better than prime Tyson? Give me a break..

I'd also point out that Lennox said himself that he didn't want any part of Tyson during his prime

Also, even Ali said that Tyson would have beaten him (not sure that I personally with this but he said it none the less)

I gotta disagree with you 100%. Lewis got hit with a punch he never saw against McCall and didn't train for Rahman the first time, you saw what he could do when he did train the 2nd time. IMO he would beat any other heavyweight that I have watched in my lifetime. I think he is an ATG and would be a hell of a matchup against anyone.

Shane, Lennox did train for the first Rahman fight and if I remember correctly was winning the fight clearly before he got caught with a lucky punch from Rahman that knocked him out.

What goes around comes around I guess cause it was the same type of punch that saved him when Lennox was getting his ass handed to him by Bruno

Any moron who puts Bowe ahead of Lewis, Tyson, Holmes, Holyfield or Klitschko has an agenda. You ****in' kidding yourselves. :-(
