    Duran vs Armstrong
    Hagler vs Ketchel
    Frazier vs Holmes

These are some mythical matchups I'd love to see,

I'm going to try again and come up with a card that actually could have happened (ish) insofar as all are contemporaries. Some of the fellas with better knowledge of the pre 60s must have a card from those days that could have happened but here goes with my best stab from the mid 90s.

It's early 95 and George Foreman has the heavyweight title. He's already stated that there's more chance of him telling a funny joke about how many cheeseburgers he eats than fighting either Lennox Lewis or Riddick Bowe so they decide they might as well fight each other,

Gerald McLellan goes cool on the prospect of going to England and takes a fight at home instead. This leads to all manner of fighters going after tough opposition as the title of P4P best becomes hot property. Even heavyweight champ Foreman takes a risk and fights someone his own size in a fight that results in calls for boxing to be made compulsory in schools.

    HW: Lewis v Bowe
    SMW: Jones v McClellan
    WW: Whitaker v Quartey
    JWW: Tzyu v DeLaHoya
    JMM: Norris v Trinidad
    SHW: Foreman v Rock Newman

I'm enjoying this thread even if I'm having a bit of a me party. I'll try spring 82 now. Bit before my time but that's what youtube's for, I suppose.

Ray Leonard stops Bruce Finch and comes through unscathed. He calls a press conference and invites Marvin Hagler only to announce he intends to move up to Jr Middle and fight Thomas Hearns again. Smelling a whopping sanction fee, the WBA insist he reclaim their Jr Middle belt. Incensed, Hagler throws out a challenge to Michael Spinks and heads off to Cape Cod to get ready with evil on his mind.

Salvador Sanchez buys a nice saloon car. Eusebio Pedroza laughs at him. Instead of going out and buying a Porsche or some other sporty number, Sanchez vows revenge in the ring. Sensing there might be money in fighting the winner, the SFW quartet of Limon, BozaEdwards, Chacon and Navarette go into a round robin.

Not everyone assumes the winner will move up and Super bantam Wilfred Gomez and bantam king Lupe Pintor bring forward their match that had been scheduled for later that year to put themselves in place for a shot at the to be crowned featherweight king.

    Here goes

    Super Feather: Limon v Chacon
    Super bantam: Gomez v Pintor
    LHW: Spinks v Hagler
    JMW: Leonard v Hearns II
    Feather: Sanchez v Pedroza
    Super feather: Boza v Navarette

Oh. And the entire card is screened on normal terrestrial channels.

And Bananarama are the ring card girls.

Sugar Ray Robinson vs. Sugar Ray Leonard
Sugar Ray Robinson vs. version of Duran who fought Sugar Ray Leonard
    Ali vs. Louis
Prime Marciano vs. version of Frazier who fought Ali first time (maybe the best fight imaginable)
Liston vs. Foreman (another possible best fight imaginable)
Version of Big Daddy Bowe who fought Holyfield I vs. version of Buster Douglas who fought Tyson (the underachievers with demons at their best)

I had Marciano v Frazier on mine - it would have been spectacularly entertaining.

You don’t think Monzon or Hopkins would beat GGG?

I think both would be highly problematic for him for different reasons. I used to favour Hagler in particular, until a poster got me thinking about the difference in size due to same-day and delayed weigh ins. Golovkin fights at 173-75lb which is almost a division higher than Hagler. I wouldn't bet a dime on any fight between those three, tbh.

Yeah, I know the Classic forum will wildly disagree with me ;)

I'd pick Trinidad. Norris was the better boxer so if he stayed disciplined he could outpoint Tito. But he tended to want to mix it up so I think he would present opportunities for Trinidad to get in close and land his bombs and against a chin like Norris's, that would be fatal.
