Surprised this hasn't garnered a thread yet. Your thoughts/ignorant nationalist slurs? Yes Putin's more than happy to use Roy's name to further both Russian business and Russia's political position. But Jones is indeed acting as an ambassador for boxing, and it can only be good for boxing in Russia. It's a huge plus for boxing's further global growth.

Alexander Povetkin always shouts out Vladimir Putin after his fights - Putin likes combat sports and show he should, Russia has a rich history in combat sport and it should be upheld.

Vladimir Putin is a scumbag, an as*hole, a piece of horse sh*t, a murderer, a thief.

That' s all you need to know about Russian president.

I think Jones should stay away from Russia , its one thing have a party and drink with local mobs and other thing really live there. Country is full of corruption , ideological conflicts and definitely not free from racial issues. But of course If Jones is note so naive and he knows what he is doing then why not.

I think Russia has a very low tax rate and we know Roy had tax issues in the US before.

    You are totally brainwashed.

Who has over 100 bases in OTHER COUNTRIES?

Who imposes sanctions leading to starvation?

NOT PUTIN. He has banned GMOS, kicked out many bankers, started BRICS which is a fair alternative to IMF slave system. WAKE UP. Putin is a real leader, not a puppet.

I'll second this. The propaganda against Putin is ridiculous but you have to do your research to find out that he is actually playing an important role against US/Western domination.

Well in terms of corruption Russia and USA is not comparable - 2 different dimensions. Russia has a state monopoly on most of the resources and people who control it are close to Putin. Those guys are making millions and they don't give a **** about public opinion... All what's matters is directives from top.

Also free Election is myth in that country and I'm not sure if they even know what is it.

BRICS is a fair alternative to IMF. Putin is fighting real evil, he is not out for world government.

And the IMF is real evil? That's ludicrous. No country has to work with the IMF. It's a voluntary process. The IMF steps into salvage bankrupt countries. They usually go bankrupt from corrupt and misguided politicians. The IMF helps get rid of corruption. How on earth is that evil?

The IMF bailed out Argentina in 2000/2001 so the government could pay wages to teachers, hospital staff and police. How on earth was that evil? You have any clue what would have happened in all these countries without the IMF?
