Pvetkin made a good choice

Very good post. Also, when has Teddy Atlas ever really been the difference maker in any fighter. Yes, he drove Moorer to victory over Holyfield but that was more by screaming at him and telling him that his kid had called between rounds or whatever rather than putting MM technically on a different level than before. AP is 30 and has been in the game long enough so it's really hard to believe that more time w/ atlas is really going to be that significant

 

People got used that anyone who fights Klitschkos loses his "0" anyway, so it almost does not count. The best example being Peter, who despite losing to BOTH Wlad and Vitali (and also Chambers) just recently got another chance.

If anything, Povetkin may lose some marketability by running from Wlad and fighting worse and worse opponents. This was becoming a farce, as he got his titleshot 2.5 years ago, and from this time most top fighters fought Wlad orVitali... including even the one beaten by Povetkin in eliminator.

 

If I was Wlad I would say" Is there anybody with any balls out there!!!!"

 

Stupid move......... 2 million down the tube is stupid.........remember alex garcia....turned down fight with foreman and riddick bowe.........then gets knocked out by mike dixon....and makes 10 000 grand.........fuk teddy atlas is dumb.
