Yeppp, it is the 2nd time he loses with a guy who was just called as a last min. replacement, but this time he even called the other guy to go up in a weight class he didn't belong just to try to gain a bit of an unfair advantage.... even with that, Williams couldn't pull it out, well, almost... We all know how good it is to have the correct friends... in the correct places...
1. Not official, officially he won and plenty had williams winning 2. Williams would have prefered it at 154lbs to get to fight for the belt but Martinez wanted it at 160 3. You suck ****
fighting a last minute replacement is not an easy task. Its a disadvanatage for both fighters. Williams training to fight Pavlik and ends up with Martinez. Completely different. that being said i thought Williams would have enough to knock out Martinez late with a right hook. Downloading the fight as we speak. Gotta give props to Martinez for sure though
#1 POINT, u may be right, it's not official.. #2 POINT, :yep Martinez wanted it at 160!!!!!!!!!!!! :admin Sure, but then that makes Williams a lier since he, himself said it needed to be @160 since he was already training for a fight at that weight... It was Williams that wanted it @ 160, not Martinez! #3 POINT... MEHHH... If that makes you feel better, so be it!
Yeah and he probably would have beat both original guys... Cintron & pavlik... All these fights are doing is making him better...
Well, he's going to end up being "A LOT BETTER" since I'm sure he'll continue to get punished himself a lot more as he keeps going. :yep...
Whenever you challenge yourself and walk through the fires in hell and survive.. Your always going to come out better
