Q about Arlovski

A mid carder now, maybe a top 50 guy if he went back in time and trained as a child.

 

His chin is too bad.His punch resistance wouldnt allow him to be anything better than a journeyman.

Its true mate.His chin is horrid.Boxing is a sport that requires a modicum of punch resistance.Arlovski`s isnt enough to have a succesful career getting beat in the head on a regular basis.If he started his career as a boxer then its a possibility but right now no way.Iv seen him stretched too many times. Datsik flattened him with a hail mary and Andre just wilted like a flower, Rizzo did the same and so did Tim. I like the guy his hands are good but pro boxer no way.

 

Arvloski would finally give Dominic Guinn a chance to knock somebody out again.

 

Arlovski is a BAMF no matter what anyone says, he is the best HW striker with his hands, he has great movement and is very powerful, good backround in submissions and a lethal striker, I feel he is the dark horse of the HW division and would give anyone hell and would have a great chance against Fedor.

 

I thought BAMF was the sound nightcrawler made when he teleported.

Anyway, I'm not even sure he practices Sambo anymore, on his All Access show he was doing BJJ instead. If you saw the All Access show you would understand why he had been performing poorly lately, he spent half the ****in show going shopping for designer clothes and diamond encrusted jewellery!

He was mentally not on the ball just from what I saw on the show, maybe he was just entertaing the girl or what ever.
Apparently he's been training at some American wrestling gym that is of Olympic calibur so we may see a new and improved AA, UFC is putting him up againstg Eddie Sanchez in April, if he doesn't excite he may be done with the UFC.

AA is top 10 or at the least top 15.

 

I think AA comes back in a big way...the reason he has been doing his posing is because of his trainer...that's the gameplan he wanted AA to follow..only prob is Tim and Werdum are both counter punchers..so that leaves pose off's in the ring which he has been a part of....His ground game is great I think he should utilize that when opportunity arrives.

 

The question was where he could be as a boxer.

 

Oh right............well, he would be a Herbie Hide character, beat journeyman and bums with his amazing athleticism, speed, size and power, but be dispatched by the upper echelon fighters due to his awful chin.

 

It`s too bad that Arlovski has such awful punch resistance, because he has everything else to be one of the best.
