Q: Did Hagler use roids as a champ at 160 from 1980 to 1987?

balding is genetic and about 50 percent of the population has it if I am correct. I have seen guys who start balding at 19 years old, but do not use steroids. I don't think Hagler used steroids. He worked hard in the gym.

 

i'd really like some confirmation that hagler shaved his head! has anyone else heard this...? not that it's either here nor there.

I read his trainers "In Their Corner" story. Hagler was a champion the minute he walked into the gym for the first time. He was different from everyone else in how serious he took it, and how much he trained, since day 1.

His trainer said when someone would come to the gym, the trainer would ask them every single time: Why do you want to learn to box?

He said he was always waiting for someone to walk in and say "Because I want to be champion". Hagler was that person.

I would say Kalule and Holyfield (cruiserweight) were even more cut. I've seen guys like that. not all that muscular, but extremely low bodyfat. like Bruce Lee maybe

Haglers body looked the same his whole career. When he first walked into Goody`s and started. He was an tireless hard worker. Spent his amateur career and pro at middle. Hagler didn`t cheat,even though given todays athlets thats hard to believe...

 

What about Leonard then???? He looked like Popeye when i saw him work out at the Mirage in 89. Outrageous physique & Hearns & Steward both were of the opinion that Leonard was juicing:yep

 

He looked pretty much as Hurricane Carter did, physique-wise, or Harold Johnson.
