Nobody can deny that Gomez has a chin and balls / heart.............. Gomez took a serious beating from rds 7 until the 9th round..... Christ, Gomez looked like he was quitting in rd 8, but he carried on........ Cheers......:hey

Gomez was a better CW champion, and he's more proven at HW too. Don't forget that Gomez was already past his best when he faced VK.

I never ever expected Gomez to drop or stop dudes like "McCall & Klit." Them two are very durable...... So it is indeed hard to base Gomez' power in those fights......

David Haye has never faced a series of big monster type dudes with rock solid chins before.... Therefore its really hard to tell where his power is at at heavyweight.....

I think by balls, he meant aggressiveness. Gomez has never been a particularly aggressive fighter.

I think stylewise Haye beats Gomez tho. As for who's better its hard to say.

    Good lord :patsch

You cant even compare Gomez's pitta patta punches to Haye's bombs. I can hit harder than Gomez, fact!!!

Gomez is a die-hard counter-puncher galore..... Again, Gomez is in the same mold as Carlos DeLeon.... An effective boxer with a boring style; yet skilled....

I never saw Gomez at 200 pounds, nor did I ever see him defend his Cruiser belt......... At 190 to 200 pounds, I can envision Gomez being a really good technician with speed and skill; plus, POWER!!:good

That is true also. Haye has great power for a Cruiser but Gomez hs fought guys with great chins & he was the first to knock down Virchis.

Gomez tried to be aggressive early vs. Vitali. It didn't work...............:yep In fact most of Wladimir's opponents try that strategy but it backfires on them.
