If not for his skills and heart, Adamek would of been shish kabob for Arreola. I think Adamek won that one by one point and has to be his best win. His power is very overrated since his destruction of Golota, a shot Golota. Golota that crushed Bowe's whoppers destroys Adamek. Adamek has some of the worst balance I've ever seen, but his heart and determination kinda makes up for it. He has a chance of outboxing, outworking, and probably beating Haye by decision, but Haye is all wrong style for him. Faster, stronger, bigger puncher than Adamek. Adamek is a ko waiting to happen.

Anybody can get KO'd. When you get caught you're caught. Hopefully Tomasz is too clever.

:patschYou have the IQ of a rock.
As for Arreola, he got tooled 8-4 tops and admitted as much at the end. Adamek made him his Mexican pinata.

Tom Adamek does appear to have good legs and a sense of spryness many heavies lack today.....

Adamek beat Arreola, but the fight was close...... Arreola needs to learn how to cut-off a ring better.....

Christ Almighty, Arreola weighed-in today at 256 pounds......... He trained at Taco Bell...

Yeah in a previous discussion it was mentioned that Adamek got the title shot at light heavy in 05 (the fights against Ulrich and Briggs) right at the time when wanted to move to cruiser. So he stayed at this weight, got the title, and ultimately lost to Dawson.

I guess pro boxers are willing to make alot of sacrifices to get exposure, but this kind of sacrifice (draining 20-25 pounds for every fight) baffles me because such a drastic measure will inevitably impact athletic performance.

Harold Lederman had it like 7 to 5 for Adamek over 12 rds...... I agree with that....... 'Twas close enough......

Arreola was also a HBO house fighter they were desperatly trying to shove down our throats...hell look at the HBO highlite vid and tell me that it reflects the fight.

    As bias as they come...

He had it 8 to 4 exactly; 116-112. He also had alexander winning against kotelnik like 10-2 :patsch :patsch Which means he's biased towards Hbo fighters and still scored the fight for adamek by a wide margin.

If you had it 7-5 then please tell me the exact rounds. Cuz **** i've seen it multiple times now and really tried but just couldnt find these 5-4 rounds for chris.

I scored the fight 117-112 (one round was very close and I couldnt decide). I was very ojective, I am always objective when judging the fights. Arreola got clearly outboxed in his hometown on his tv station in his own country by a foreigner. So the scores 115-113 and 114-114 dont surprise me a lot, because it was clear (before the fight) that Adamek have to beat Arreola convincingly to win the fight. And this is exactly what he has done. 116-112 or 117-111 would be correct scores in my opinion.
