Thanks for the RBR on this fight.Really appreciate it as I like Kant Islam. It would appear 160lbs is too much for him though imo

    Round 1 Kautondokwa 10-9, close

Islam came out fast landed a short hook, but ran the rest of the round without throwing much, most of both of their shots missed, both defending well, but Walter's aggression, and a few glancing blows were enough to nick tight round IMO.

    Round 2 Ïsläm 10-9

Kanat comes out aggressive, rocks him with a hook to the chn, then goes on his bike for the next two minutes, Walter chasing, not landing much, then Kanat explodes on him landing a hook to the head and a hard jab that rocks Walter once again, he follows up with a short but effective body attack.

Islam back on his bike from the get go. Walter stalking him working behind his jab, every time he pins him down, Islam hooks to the body or head, and slips away, but all the while Walter is landing little jabs, or glancing hooks that partially land. The flashier work from Islam, he finishes with a few awkward looping hooks, but the more consisent of the two that round was Walter, by a hair.

    Round 4 Ïsläm 10-9

Kanat is very negative, Walter bringing effective aggression, working behind his jab, but Kanat always on the move, when Walter pins him down, he lands a hook, and hauls ass, Kanat finally plants his feet and throws some flashy classy looping hooks to the body and head and a beautiful lunging straight right that flies Walter's head late to take the 4th.

Helluva round, Walter out bringing it to the max, walks into a vicious left hook right on the button, sends Walter careening into the ropes, almost drops him, but he weathers the flurry from Kaat that followed, Walter back to stalking, bang short left hook catches him in the same spot, down on his butt Walter goes. He makes it back up, the ref asks him if he's okay, and he goes all out, slugging away, may have even rocked Islam a time or two, Walter showed incredible grit and almost came back to even up the round.

    Round 6 Kautondokwa 10-9

Dominant round for Kautondokwa, Kanat ran like a scared little girl the whole round, not sure if he gassed in the 5th or felt the power, but he kept his hands at home throughout, and Walter stalk effectively, cornering him along the ropes landing jabs and clipping him with left hooks when he tries to slip out. Islam let his hands go for about 4 seconds late, but that was it.

Kanat running on fumes, and I'm not sure why, I mean, he's thrown maybe 100 punches in the entire fight, maybe it's all of the non stop running perhaps. Walter cutting off the ring well, closing the distance brilliantly, landing one twos just out of range, and defending against Islam's incoming hooks catches most of them on his shoulders now. All Walter.

Islam is literally jogging away from him at this point, he barely threw a punch, Walter landing anywhere he can land, touching him all over, cracking him with some real bombs. Kanat looked almost ready to go late when he was in hold, from sheer exhaustion. Kanat occasionally while being punched repeatedly tries to show boat to show off his defense like he's Saunders or something, it's quite a perplexing sight to see. He's a wee bit delusional it appears.

This is just ****ing embarrassing, Islam at times is literally turning his back and hauling ass, jogging away from Walter as he chases him. Once again, all Walter, he threw and landed non stop, Islam every time they'd get close would latch himself to Walter like a barnacle and sags down almost looks like he falls asleep every time he's in hold.
