Qawi/Braxton - ATG?

    borderline imo. had it not been for spinks (one of the three greatest light heavies imo) being there at the same time, he would have reigned for a long time.

    so talentwise, he certainly is the material. but his track record is just a little thin.

    Yes, he makes it. A very good and exciting offensive fighter.

    Thats pretty much it mate, you don't HAVE to prove it IMHO (sometimes a boxer is just unlucky in the era he fought) but to say that "if Duran wasn't around" or "Spinks wasn't around" isn't as good a justification when considering being an ATG as being able to say a fighter actually beat fighter x or fighter y.

    I can think up examples of why this point of view works and examples why it doesn't work (as I'm sure you can!) but its the way I generally look at things. Certainly in the Qawi example, less so with DeJesus admittedly.:good
