Qawi vs Adamek who would win? seeing as we have been discussingg Qawi what about him against current CW champ, another tough SOB with a great chin and good power. Id pick Qawi myself because he has a better defence to set up his offence. Adamek is too straight up and would take some moster shots off the smaller Qawi who would be punching up.
you tend to forget that qawi had flops also , by that i mean : against much lesser oposition than adamek. i do not know who would have won. and qawi always punched up. adamek still has to prove himself. Cunningham and Bell are good wins but not enough to be considerred ATG at 200. bell was shot , and with cunningham it was close. qawi is proven but did have flops.
Adamek is no Spinks, and he's too robotic and slow to have ****ed with Qawi. The Camden Buzzsaw by beatdown.
Horrible match up for tomasz qawi is all wrong for him, in a 15 round fight tomasz would finish on his feat but be left in a bad state, a prime qawi was a different type of animal
With his face first style Qawi would have done some paintjob on Adamek, my guess is he busts open the poles face and forces a stoppage around the 9th or so with Adameks face looking like bloody raw hamburger meat.
Adamek likes to throw that right hand...and it would prove his undoing. Qawi would wait for Adamek to throw it, rock back, time him and come over with his heavy right hand. Just a little notion I have on the matter......
Qawi was too skilled an infighter and technician, and Adamek's defense is too porous. Agreed with the consensus: Qawi by decision or late stoppage.
A great fight for the fans, but a nightmare one for Ademak. Holyfield I era Qawi has Ademak looking like he did vs Briggs. Dwight'll take his lumps, but also a comfortable UD. What a great fight, though.
