Qawi, Beterbiev has a leaky defence and Qawi knows how to take advantage of a leaky defence, just look at his saad Muhammad fight, he took advantage of his poor defence and hit him consistently, someone said anyone who puts pressure on Beterbiev gets knocked out, but Qawi’s wasn’t any old pressure, he would sneak into range, he would avoid your punches, make you frustrated with that and then counter it, he would come forward whilst not getting hit with anything remotely clean, Qawi is far too clever and mobile for Beterbiev
Beterbiev by KO. It will look like Liston-Patterson 1, with Qawi charging in only for Beterbiev to initiate a clinch and pound him on the inside to oblivion.
Qawi and I don’t think it’s close, just from what I’ve seen his career isn’t developed enough to truly know. Perhaps put a pen in this I read posts by people at one stage saying Whyte and AJ would destroy the likes of pedigree HW’s like Foreman, Ali and Frazier those people have almost vanished out of sight since recent events.
The slower and sloppy work that Beterbeiv tends to put in, would probably end up making this one Qawi's unfought masterpiece. Slips, parries and counters galore with a snapping jab and debilitating body shots. Beterbeiv likes to get into his groove, and looks to come on in all departments with his momentum. It's quite impressive, actually. But against Qawi, he won't be landing enough to get in a groove or gather momentum. I love Callum Johnson, but if he can bounce AB and have him in jab-and-move mode, then Qawi can do the same and more importantly, follow up.
Actually, Callum's counter left hooks are quite Qawi-esque in how he sets them up. And even if he got knocked out, he still had Beterbeiv on Bamby legs then tryna run off.
