Great fight. I like Galindez here to win a close decision. I think his counterpunching gets the points. And I do not think Vic falls for that Qawi trick of giving a guy the right hand opening and taking it away. He was great at it and would clean up when a guy would swing and catch the shoulder or top of his head. Galindez was too smart for that and Vic sure did have a rare skill--how to win close fights. Lots of guys can hang tough but the guys that can consistently win close fights are a rare breed.
Galindez, by reason of his "back to the ropes" counter punching skills and 15 round stamina. Victor had underrated ring cleverness and IQ.
Qawi. His workrate, granite chin and high IQ take it for me. Victor was great as well but could be lazy and could give rounds away at times. That wouldn't fly against Dwight
This is how I see it. Galindez was better against standup boxer types that allowed him to set the uneven pace he liked, where he could rush you or back off and collect himself at his leisure. You didn't get that nice dispensation against Qawi.
