Yes Brisbane has got it bad. Toowoomba copped it much worse than them. Let's not forget Rockhampton and everywhere south is flooded, at least the Brisbane and Gold Coast etc attention whores get supplies in, we have to get supplies sent from everywhere, flown in and then divvied up to go to shops and centres, than over to us to be rationed up. Only 60-80 loaves of bread released per day, equal milk ration. So you think you've got it bad, been stuck on this island for 5 days. But we still have been much luckier than the north and west.

No you dag, this is the problem with forums...

I mean the world is watching how us aussie will deal with the disaster hand in hand, by each others side...not that they are sitting there watching us a doing nothing, sheesh!

I 'live' at West End right on the river, lost the ground level of my home and might have lost the top level too, cars prob' fuked , thought it is a bucket, got Insurance so every thing is ok. I have my health , did not loss anyone , have insurance so , not so bad for me, staying with friend in the Bayside. Just feel for the people that lost their lives or the lives of loved ones, or that did not have insurance.
