I dunno, bit I think they need to solve this heartbeat problem. Gettin a trio that works the ruck cohesively.
Barret was bought into camp as a replacement for Tahu should his injury not respond.
Barrett is an ex Dragon, hook him up with Soward, stick Jamie Lyon inside Idris With Hayne at full back & with his strike capability makes for a far greater challenge to Qld.

I mean, lets not kid ourselves, QLD has hit a purple patch over the last 5 years.
The team that played last night, were just playing league,as opposed to the team that Vautin coached, who went out onto the Paddock with their estate in order & no tomorrow.
    They've still got another gear.
NSW won't beat them in "fight to the death" They have to just keep robbing them. Make them angry & not passionate.

I suspect that if NSW wins 2 they will need a fire breathing motivater to get them up to Ramming speed or the Maroons will slaughter them in round 3.

Pecks what did i say before the game.

I said its a gamble using Kimmorley and Ennis because in to many games for the Dogs they go missing in games.

I said if they did that against QLD you would lose.

Some of this blame has to finally be put on the **** selectors. For too long i feel as a ictorian that follows QLD having once lived in Brissie.

Laurie Daly is the worst selector ever. After backing Robbie Farrah last year they take it away from him this year.

They give the Fullback spot to Gidley who has hardly done **** this year. And they leave out i feel one of the best prospects Ive seen for NSW in Years in Michael Jennings.
They didnt play Gallen either which from him being in the Australian team and not in the NSW squad is some what of a suprise.

If it was me i would play

    Farrah
    Jennings
    Gallen
and any half decent number 7 that isnt Kimmorley. If it was me i'd play

    Soward at the number 7

And i was a NSW fan i wouldnt put much blame on Bellamy with the teams he is getting im suprised NSW a getting as close as they do.

Sounds like the blues have got rid off Kamorley, Cooper and White...shifted Haye to fullback and gidley to 7

In comes Gallen and Barrett and someone else.....I forgot

Gidley should come off the bench and Soward should be 7

The word is Hayne will go to fullback, Gidley to halfback and Barrett to come in at 5/8. Lyon will shift back to the centres and Idris will go to the wing.

Gallen is a waste. For all the criticism of Bellamy re: his selctions, he got it right when he didn't want Gallen.

Save for his last test match appearance, Gallen is never in the top 6 forwards on the park in rep games. He is rank at rep level.

I dont understand why they keep putting Gidley in the side, he is a good a clubman, but i really dont think he is anything more then a benchy at origin level. You have the experience of Barret at five eight, throw a half like Pearce in, before he got injured he was playing great this year. Then throw in some FORM props like the Sharks Douglas and Snowden ( i dont care how **** the sharks are going, these guys are as tough as nails) and leave Idris out, he needs another year to learn how to defend. Put Odonnel or Bird on the bench, both these guys have proven they can perform at Origin level.
