I remember when the heavyweight factory first started getting some hype, and Quadtrine Hill was on the front cover of ESPN magazine. Is this gentleman still considered a heavyweight prospect? Still too early to tell? He fights tomorrow and weighed in at a trim 219 lbs. This is the only footage I could find of him: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mby2QqMOd0[/ame] Record: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=525867&cat=boxer
yeah certain people still trying to prove the "greatest boxers are playing in the NFL or NBA" theory........FAIL
Well, if he still was considered a prospect, he isn't anymore after last night. Why was this guy seen as a prospect anyway? He already got KO'd in his 2nd pro fight, against a bum. :!:
I don't hink this is fair. America has got some decent young heavies now: Deontay Wilder, Tor Hammer, Joe Hanks, Darrel Madison, Seth Mitchell, and a few others. Bermaine Stiverne is Canadian, but at least that's from this side of the pond. They aren't at this point as good prospects as Helenius, Pulev, Glazkov or Adbulsalamov. But I think they are comparable to the Brits (Fury, Chisora, Dallas, Price, Towers) and ALL of these guys have a long way to go before they are ready for a Klit brother. So I say, lets all just sit back and enjoy the ride, and see who can develope himself the most.
