Jeez Louise!!! What the hell is a 24hr shift!!!!!!! Let me know when you're at the 22hr mark so i can revisit our Hearns top 10 debate and gain some traction Look after yaself young man.
He (Fenech) doesn't get the appreciation he deserves. A heck of a fighter at his peak. Just seemed to burn out quickly for whatever reason. Plus having A.Nelson around didn't help.
Yeah being Australian the mate and i made sure we caught every fight that was televised. He was underdog in some of his early fights as more highly regarded American foes came looking for his belt. He just kept winning.
Nope he had only around twenty to thirty pro fights and was WBC champion, but injured against Ao in Japan, where it was much closer than the cards suggested. Also got he robbed vs. Gulyakevich. Ottke has the best record in quality in Super-Middleweight next to Collins. He fought the top 20 like up and down and barely missed someone (Calzgahe, Rosenblatt maybe), there had Lewis more opponents left and Ward too.
Anthony Joshua is going to be pretty stacked. He's had 26 fights and has fit a whole heap of contenders in there. Pretty confident he won't get past 40 as at his present rate he'd die of old age first.
I've never believed in this school of thought. Spinks might be the exception since he more than made up for it in title defenses. Quite a few One might forget how he handled both a still tough Lopez and Johnson to get his title shot and then UD a very worthy EMM Once he was done with the light heavies, moved up and beat Holmes. Sugar Ray Leonard had more versatility than Frazier but fell out of grace for refusing to defend against a worthy middleweight namely, Michael Nunn This was not due to having a career cut short but by choice. Had he gone through with it, it may have resembled Norris - Leonard or Camacho Leonard or something in between. But at least he fought Norris which is good. Frazier was tough but too limited
Evander Holfield, however, I would divide his career into two parts: to become a world heavyweight champion (including a fight with James "Buster" Douglas), and to retire. In both parts of his career, quality was above quantity.
They say "one teaspoon for the cup and one for the pot." but that is gibberish which makes no sense. So, ignore that. I do it the way I do it. I don't front.
