“B.. bu.. but I went back and watched da fight on SlowMo and have devin winning!!!” None of them actually went back and thoroughly watched **** I was waiting for actual TRUE tallied up punch numbers and this is a good example. Nice find man. Loma 116-112 Easy and clear when you actually WATCH IT. Much of devins bodywork hit Loma’s arms.
Don't go down this rabbit hole like everyone did the May/Pac fight. Its not worth it. Its just entertainment at the end of the day. Team Lomachenko or Team Haney is gonna cut anyone a check for internet defense funds.
Yea mate no. 115-113 Haney Read it and weep. I gave Haney round 12 in the end after all the crying from Loma fans nearly drowned me. The best part is Loma won't do any better in a rematch.
I didn't watch the teeth, but just came to say that if you're not using the 10pt. Must Scoring System then this argument is pointless.
Lima win convincingly as the stats show. You cannot give Haney more than four rounds unless you are sucking his balls
To be clear and too be fair, judges don't get to go back and watch the fight in slow motion before they judge a round. Second, quantity of punches landed does matter but so does the quality of the punches landed. Did this report happen to say anything about the quality and power of the punches landed?
I mean… we all saw who landed the more impactful and hurtful shots!! That was Loma. Had that boy devin PANICKING in his corner. Also had him holding on for dear life in the 11th!! Loma 116-112
They have their "high impact" concept, among other things. They have a pretty impressive breakdown on the last few slides. Interestingly, Loma wins across all punch categories but Haney controlled the geography of the fight via pressure and aggression (according to their metrics). Funnily enough, I was out that night and besides catching a little of the stream on my phone I haven't actually watched the fight. Dozens of Saturdays in front of the TV watching no-names blow through scrubs and then the highest skill matchup in a while comes up and I have plans.
LOL, that is the way life works sometimes. I am going to try and take a deeper look at those metrics on Saturday. Sounds pretty interesting.
